Hi, I’m Hayden. The creator of reverse trip search.

I’m a tech professional based in Austin, Texas, originally from the Great Lakes state of Michigan.

By day, I underwrite loans and build systems. By night (and on weekends), I use that same analytical mindset to hack the way we travel.

I built ReverseTripSearch because I was tired of the standard travel search. Most sites ask, “Where do you want to go?” assuming you have an unlimited budget. I wanted to build a tool that asks the real question: “How far can my budget take me?”

My Journey (So Far)

Travel has been part of my life since childhood, traveling with my family multiple times a year. That curiosity followed me into adulthood, where I have been fortunate enough to continue exploring new destinations every single year.

From the snowy peaks of Switzerland to the coast of northern Oregon down to California and Mexico. From road-tripping to little unknown gems around the midwest to Niagra Falls in Canada and dozens of U.S. states, I’ve learned that travel isn’t about being rich, it’s about being smart.
